As a finalist in the MAD blog awards we were treated to a family day out at Legoland along with all the other finalists and their families, and competitions winners and helpers.
We started our weekend with a trip to London and stayed overnight before making our way to Legoland at 8am. After meeting up in the Legoland hotel we were treated to a 4D movie, Chima. The Little Man loved it, he sat on my lap with his glasses on and was totally enthralled throughout. A complete surprise to me! Boo, also loved it and her hands kept going out to touch things that were not really there. Star, however, did not enjoy the experience so much. She found the elements thrown at us a little too much as she has sensory issues. She began to sob when we got a soaking and I had to sit covering her to protect her.
We got to spend the rest of the day to do as we pleased. With our special wristbands which allowed to jump any queue we managed to fit in a load of rides. First up we started with a little browsing while the kids gathered their courage.
Then it was time to brave the rides. We started with some easy ones in the Kingdom of the Pharoes, The horses of the Desert Chase and then onto the Aero Nomad. We then rode the Hill Train to The Beginning.

I love the look of Legoland and wished that we lived nearer to it. I think thoigh when the girls are a bit bigger we will definitely have to have a trip there. It looks like you all had a brilliant day out, the pictures are fab.
Feeling a little left out now! Glad you all had a fantastic day and it lived up to your expectations. Thanks for sharing with Country Kids.
Oh wow looks like you had an amazing time! We were meant to go but at the last minute we had a huge bill to pay (my Mac laptop hard drive died) and it meant we couldn't join the rest of the finalists but it looks like you had an action packed day 🙂 Great photos
Just popping by from Country Kids
