Out of the Mouths of Babes- With Cycle Tots

My kids, just like any others, come out with the funniest things. Boo is usually the best as she tends to hear things differently and gets her words mixed up. The Little Man is only just starting to talk properly but he still makes me laugh. He’s at that stage where it’s probably only mummy that understands what he’s saying.

I was looking back at some forums I’d posted on and found some gems that I’d written and forgotten about, so I will share them now.

First up, one from Star when she was just 5 yrs old.

 Star recognises David Cameron on the tv so I asked her who he was
 ‘he’s the Prime Minister’
 So I asked what he does and she replied
 ‘he tells Santa when you’ve been naughty.

A classic from Boo when she was only 2 years.

Mummy my feet hurt, will you take me to the dentist.

 One from Boo at 2, which shows how she hears things differently:

After watching the film Barbie and the Three muskateers Boo runs around weilding her ‘sword’ telling everyone she is a biscuit ear.

 This one is more something that Star did than said, but still funny. Here she was 4yrs old

Star lifted up my top while I was pregnant and sticks her toy camera on my tum. I ask her what she’s doing and she replies ‘taking a photo of the baby’

Here is another classic from Boo, this was last Christmas time.

Boo comes home from school with a letter and it’s obvious they’ve been through the contents with the teacher. She tells me they are going on a trip and they need trainers because it might be slippy, a coat in case it rains, a packed lunch and a jam sandwich. I ask why they need a jam sandwich and she says she doesn’t know. I say to her you don’t even like jam sandwiches and she starts crying, we have to take a jam sandwich the teacher said so.  

I read the letter and it says they need to take trainers, coat, packed lunch…but no money because it will be a jam packed day and they won’t have time to visit the shop!
