Welcome to this weeks Kids in the Kitchen and it’s a new month so new linky time. Thank you to everyone who linked up last month, I really enjoyed reading all your recipes that you made with your little ones and have saved them all on my Pinterest Board for Kids in the Kitchen. This month my kids in the kitchen made Fortune Cookies.

Fortune Cookies
Ingredients:
Method:
First we made the fortunes by writing them on 12 small strips of paper. We cut 3 circles from each tortilla wrap and put the fortune in the middle. We used a little olive oil to seal the wrap as we folded it over, then we folded it again and placed it in a muffin tin.
When they were all folded we baked them for five minutes until crispy.
Then we dipped some in chocolate and some in golden syrup and sesame seeds. The weekend box also provided strawberries pieces but Boo didn’t want to use these.

thank you for the hugs for Miss T. So frustrating as they still haven't got to the bottom of it. Plaster off yesterday but swollen worse than ever. Going back next week again to see doctor. Fortune cookies are such a fun thing to make with the kids – i always imagined they would be really tricky but you've inspired us! x
Poor Miss T 🙁 These are very simple fortune cookies, I was surprised by how they actually tasted like the real ones as the wraps go all crispy when baked. (I've always found the fortunes a little annoying though, but they wouldn't be fortune cookies without them)
