Welcome to this week’s (a little late) Kids in the Kitchen. We are late because we had a bit of a disaster with this weeks recipe. Star wanted to make some more marshmallows and being as it’s nearly Easter we decided to make chocolate ones…but they didn’t set properly. They were ok when they came out of the fridge for a little while, but soon became a gooey sticky mess. Never mind, we made up for it with lots of chocolate.

Well it’s a new month and a new linky so I’m really looking forward to see what you are up to in the kitchen with your kids this month. Please join in whenever you can, I’m happy for you to link up old or new posts and you don’t have to include a recipe so long as you are showing your kids having fun in the kitchen. All posts get pinned on my Pinterest Board and I will also tweet them and give them a mention here on Kids in the Kitchen each week.

Chocolate
The Little Man had fun adding the chocolate to the bark and swirling it around.
So now it’s over to you, get in the kitchen with your kids and come and share what you’ve cooked,
Totally agree – it's great to hear about fails as well as successes. Those Easter bags look great. We did some chocolate mould bunnies and eggs, but used normal chocolate – colourful candy melts would have been much better. Next time! Thanks for hosting another #KidsintheKitchen
That really does look pretty for easter. So important to mention the baking fails too I think because cooking is like that – sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't and thats how the kids (and me!) learn from it. We had a baking fail and a baking success this week so will try to link up soon. X
