This week we took a trip to Digbeth, Birmingham and I took this photo outside The Old Crown, the Oldest pub in Birmingham.
It claims to date back to 1363 but most of the current building was constructed between 1450 and 1500. It really is a lovely old building, in walking distance from the City Centre. It also has a very lovely beer garden!
Wow! Bet it is haunted 🙂
oooh never thought of that, in it's history it has owners with the same surname as my Dad's family! It's a B&B maybe I should book a night see if any old relatives turn up 🙂
What a brilliant historic photo
Thank you for linking up

Amazing architectural details! Lovely capture. #mysundayphoto
I love old photographs like this, they seem to tell a story don't they? Gorgeous.
Oooh this is so lovely, I love buildings like this, we once nearly bought a tudor cottage it was so lovely but had no parking so we didn't proceed but it was lovely x
I gave my dad a book about heritage pubs for Father's Day. I wonder if this one is in it.
