Last Sunday we went to Millenium Point in Birmingham to say goodbye to the Big Hoot Owls that have been around our city for the last few months. We went on the trail to find them a few times our first outing took us to a local park and shopping area and the second and third outings to the University the City Centre and the Canals. We did actually manage a couple of other trips but I never got around to blogging about them.
Now the owls have been auctioned and they raised more than half a million pound for Birmingham Children’s Hospital who are now opening a new centre for rare diseases.
It was lovely having the owls around they will be missed. It’s wonderful that they have raised so much money though and I hope they are well looked after in their forever homes.
I love these owls. It sounds just a fun day and great trail to do!
These are so fun, what a fun day finding them all
Thank you for linking up
I hope they bring something like this to where we live, as would be such fun seeking them out, they are so big and colourful, great photos of the owls x
