Our school has a similar reward system. I like it, as it does recognize the effort they put in rather than a natural talent for something. My middle daughter is in year 6 too. A lot more stress with SATs this time, than when my eldest went through it. She's coping, but for a fairly laid back child, I can see the difference. Looking forward to when it is all over. #wotw

Well done to Star, a brilliant achievement. Sorry to hear she's been so poorly, poor thing, I do hope the long weekend allows her to fully recover and that her SATS aren't too stressful for her x Thanks for sharing with #WotW

Well done Star! She really is one…
Aww! Bless her…Hospital appointments can be so frustrating when you don't learn anything new.
I hope she feels better soon!
Good luck to her in the SATS. xxx

Hi Anne, it's excellent that the school acknowledges strengths as you don't have to be the best to be trying the hardest, so it gives all children a fair chance to prove themselves. I also think it's excellent that the school does have special arrangements for children that need them, it may not be what we want for our children, but if they need it it's fantastic that the opportunity is there.

    xx
