It's awful when you have dreams like that, especially the ones you can't shake off once you are awake. I'm always had very strange and lucid dreams since I was a little girl some weird and wonderful and some not so nice. One I often have is that I'm trying to dial a number on an old fashioned phone and I just can't get it right, it's so frustrating ! I hope you get some good quality sleep soon x

Oh dear…What strange dreams. They do sound more like nightmares. I hope you get lots of nice dreams soon!
I have had some really odd dreams this last week. I blame the cold and flu tablets and things I've been taking. lol

Dreams which are so strong and powerful and real are awful aren't they?! Although yours does sound more like a nightmare, I have to say. I haven't had any real dreams for ages – I think I'm so tired I fall into such a deep sleep & then I don't remember anything! I hope you manage to get some good quality, uninterupted dream free sleep

Very strange dreams and not happy ones, either, that you'd want to have lingering around. It's frustrating when they keep you awake, too, Hope next week's dreams are easily forgettable x Thanks for sharing with #WotW

What strange dreams. Disturbed nights and a lot on your mind. Although my Grandmother would have told you to leave off the cheese before bed time. (she didn't like cheese). I hope the dreams improve and leave you to sleep soundly. #wotw

I've always been fascinated by dreams and have always dreamt a lot. My husband never used to dream until more recently and now he's become really interested in dream interpretation (not in a weird way but in a Christian way of God speaking to us via dreams at times). But horrible dreams are just that – horrible and I hope that your dreams soon become good ones again.

I smiled at your dream about florida – as you know I love my comps and when i've deliberately stopped doing comps in the past to take a break from it, i've ended up dreaming that i've had big wins like big holidays etc and then find myself dissapointed when i wake up!

In terms of insurance, we were really worried when we were going to canada a couple of years ago when T was at her worst that we wouldn't be able to find travel insurance cover that would cover her but there are companies that do specialise in it. We got cover via Staysure insurance at that time, but this year we found that Blue badge insurance (who we get insurance through for her wheelchair) also have a sub brand that specialise in travel insurance which is far more comprehensive than staysure and worked out miles cheaper too so we booked through them this year.

I think your dreams reflect the new changes in your life and your unsure of the future and how you will cope . The parachute reflects the need for a safety net and I can see why based on your health problems that you are facing a period of the unknown x hope they settle soon x

I can identify with this as I too take medication that interferes with my sleep and the way I process information. Hugs and fingers crossed it improves X #wotw

Hi Anne, I hope you aren't on the medication too much longer as those dreams are no nice at all. I remember years ago when my Dad was giving up smoking the nicotine patches used to give him such disturbing and vivid dreams that he stopped using them (he did give up and hasn't touched cigarettes for twenty years now). I've not had a dream I can recall for a long time. I tend to get unsettled feelings, but no images I can remember.

Thank you for linking up with the #MMBC.

Dreams are funny things aren't they? Hope that the weird and horrible dreams start to ease off soon. That body spasm sounds quite scary – glad you were able to calm yourself down again. I don't often remember my dreams but I do tend to get strange ones when I'm worrying about something. I also get false awakenings every so often where I dream repeatedly that I'm awake and doing things only to then realise that I'm still asleep. It's not so bad when it's just the one and I wake up – it's when they're several layers deep and I have several "awakenings" before I wake for real – by the last one I'm usually starting to panic that I won't be able to wake up for real. #WotW
