I’ve not done much travelling in my life but ever since watching the film ‘One Month By the Lake’ I’ve always wanted to visit Italy.
My dream holiday would be at the Pra’ Delle Torri Holiday Centre Next to Venice and facing the sea of Caorle.
The Pra’ delle Torri resort has been just Awarded Trip Advisor Travellers Choice 2017, the most prestigious prize from the portal of reviews n. 1 in the world! The award qualifies Pra delle Torri 15th among the total of the hotels in Italy, ideal for families.
What I love about the Pra’delle Torri is the attention paid to the surrounding environment There are so many green spaces, lots of flowers and even charging points for electric cars. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday.
The resort is in the Veneto and close to the coastal town of Caorle which has golden sandy beaches with their own lifeguards and sunbeds and carousals. Caorle is on the Adriatic sea and a walk into the town will bring you such delights as the Cathedral of Saint Stephen built in 1038 and the Church of the Blessed Church of the Angel built on a little promontory in the sea.
The Pra’delle Torri resort is perfect for families, there is a wide range of accommodation, hotel, apartments, bungalows, caravans and camping. There is also plenty of entertainment for all ages, fantastic waterparks, fun park, activity park, sports area and even an 18 hole golf course to keep the Dads happy. You certainly wouldn’t get bored here. My kids are just getting into water parks so I’m sure they would spend plenty of time there. It’s fabulous to see that activities are available for children of all ages from toddlers to teens.
Offsite I would have to visit the Caorle Lagoon, it’s such a beautiful area of conservation and a magical place where different ecosystems live together.
The cuisine in Veneto sounds lovely, we are big lovers of pasta so I can see us all enjoying a dish of Casunziei which is similar to ravioli. I also love risotto and being a seaside town it would be sure to be served with crab which is my favourite. The Polento e Schei sounds great, I’m a fan of polento and schei are small shrimp from the lagoon. My husband is not so much a sea food fan but he would happily sit down to a plate of gnocchi.
What do you think? Have you been to Italy? Would like a holiday at Pra’ Delle Torri Resort? I know I would and I will continue to dream of it.
