After nearly three weeks of Chicken Pox we were finally out of quarantine and managed to leave the house. I had a pub restaurant to review and I’d already had to push the date on it because of illness.
We enjoyed a lovely meal which I will tell you more about later but the desert was extra yummy. Kids all chose a Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae and I have to say I was tempted to have one myself. As well as two scoops of ice cream they had marshmallows, chocolate buttons and a pot of chocolate sauce to get creative with. This creation belongs to Boo. I think they all enjoyed making them as much as they enjoyed eating them!
Boo took this photo herself on my phone. I edited it a little to crop of the mess of the table and to put the focus on the ice cream art.
It was so good to get out at last. Fingers crossed there will be loads more outings to come, especially as school is nearly over.
Wouldn't mind a bowl of that myself, sometimes children's dessert are the nicest! #MySundayPhoto
Ooh now that looks tasty!
Such a relief to be through the pox! Definitely worth a treat.
This looks yummy, glad everyone is fitting fit again
Thank you for linking up
Ohh! That looks so good. I'm so glad that everyone is feeling better x
Hi Anne, you do have willpower! There is no way I would have sat and not had a sundae too! I am that person who orders their meal based on what puddings are to be had!I bet it's a huge relief to put the chicken pox behind you.
xx
Glad you are all feeling better now. This looks like a great recovery treat for sure! #MySundayPhoto
Glad everyone is better now! Being stuck indoors in hot weather is no fun so finally being able to enjoy the wider world is fab! #mysundayphoto
Glad you are finally free of chicken pox in your house. It must have been a real relief to get out again!
Glad to hear that everyone is feeling better and you are able to get out and about once again. Boo's ice-cream creation looks very yummy 🙂
The treat looks yummy. Glad that health has returned and you could relax at a restaurant. #MMBC
