This has been an issue round here lately as my daughter desperately wanted a trampoline, but my husband wants the garden to stay nice! She’s compromised with a mini trampoline (in today’s photo!), which she can use for her gymnastics tricks she wants to try and it can go away in the evening so it doesn’t ruin the grass.

Hi Anne, it looks like your children are going to have a fab summer bouncing around. Trampolining is probably one of the most fun forms of exercising there is. Our garden is neither full of toys or flowers. We do have green grass though (someone told my husband it wouldn’t be possible here, which was like a flag to a bull) and fruit trees, with a few veggies planted out back. My herbs and cactus do flower though and are quite easy to care for.

Ohh! That looks like fantastic fun!
My girls have always wanted a trampoline but we only have a small concrete back yard. One just wouldn’t fit. I did think about getting a mini one but we have no soft landing if they jump or fall off….

We have a Wendy house and a climbing tower in our garden both of which we were lucky to get for free when friends of ours had no use for them any more. My daughter’s two friends both have trampolines and one lives at the back of us and one across the road so she just goes over there for her jumping fun!
