Hi, there’s certainly has been a lot on social media about nastiness or bullying, I guess we just have to remember the nice kind hearted people out there #mixitup

I think we read the same books as teenagers. I still find lots of the ideas from those early books, influence the way I think now. Social media has opened a new world to us all. Good and bad. Unfortunately it will always be the one bad comment among the 20 good ones that we focus on. Human nature. Yes, there are bad and mean things said, for whatever reason, but don’t forget that there are many more that show how kind and supportive people can be. I don’t know if you follow Kelle Hampton. She recently received a mean comment, but turned it completely around and used the energy to raise lots of money for a very good cause. We can’t expect to change people or stop the judgement, but maybe we can do something about how they make us feel. I like you as a human. Better than a robot. #MMBC

So true, we do focus on the bad, another human fault! I do try to surround myself with positive, kind people though. I’ve not heard of Kelle Hampton before but I will check her out, thanks x

Human behaviour can indeed be very hurtful at times… Online, I try to surround myself with people who are positive, supportive, inspirational etc. And from my viewpoint, looking at the feeds I’ve shaped that way, the world looks pretty friendly, for the most part.
Now if only I could get my husband to do the same! His feed is full of doom and gloom, and hence he sees the world as a mostly miserable and loveless place… It’s quite scary really, how our realities can appear so different. X

Oh yes, I do this too. But recently I’ve had close friends and family members just turn on me. It’s been quite a shock, particularly when I try to stick to the positive and inspirational myself. I think experiences like this can put everything you believe into question, but I won’t let any of it change me. x

Social media has its ups and downs doesn’t it?! There can be lots of negativity, but I tend to simply ignore it. The delete button is really useful for dealing with that though!
Surround yourself with those who genuinely love and care for you and you can’t go far wrong. 🙂

Thanks for sharing with #MMBC. x
