What a great job, and so good it worked out for you after such a bad let down. We have a marvellous library in our town, but it is such a pity that only comparatively few people use it. #MixitUp

OH, I cried and threw a real strop when they let me go, but it did turn out well so I’ve no hard feelings now. Around 6 years ago we had this fantastic library built in the city centre. Now, I’d love to work there!

Narnia, yes, pure escapism. But if you’ve even been in a library stacks it’s more like finding your way through a never ending wardrobe, but filled with books not fur coats. x

I spend many days in the library when I was a teen, I loved how peaceful it was and the number of books that I wanted to read grew and grew just by looking in once section. Sadly I live away from the library but we do have a mobile library that parks outside my house every 4 weeks. It is not the same environment though. #Blogtober18

I am reading The Discovery of Witches right now. I’ll be writing about it in the next couple of weeks. I try to read a book per month so that I get some much needed reading into my busy schedule. Both of my boys are independent readers too though they don’t read as much as I would like them to. They would rather play video games but now that school has started and reading is a homework requirement, they are reading more. #mixitup

I like libraries, and librarians are usually great people (at least the ones I’ve met so far). By the way, did you know that the stock photo you’ve used here shows Stockholm Library? I used to live there (in Stockholm, not inside the library lol), and I think the library is one of the greatest buildings there. Beautiful inside and out x
