I agree with everything you’ve said. “Pick your battles” is something 25 years of being a parent has taught me and when you can let go of things that really don’t matter, you are a far happier person.
I spend a lot of time sitting in my room for peace and comfort. I’m writing this in my room even though I’m the only one home. Feeling the peace is so important. Going out as well is something I use a lot. I open the back door and step outside, close my eyes and feel the world around me. The smells and sounds – the nature. It reminds us what is truly important, and how small we are really in the grand scheme of things. It’s a great post x

A truely wise and generous post … pity your friends are not as wise, Anne. As you say, ultimately it’s how we view things that gives us problems, or allows us to resolve them. #DreamTeam

I haven’t read a post like this in ages. I love it and think most of the points will ring true with so many people. I’m a total fan of the ‘don’t sweat the small stuff’ idea. It doesn’t work for everything, but it can help keep the peace and put things in better prospective. Thanks for sharing with the #dreamteam xx
