Sometimes you just need to sleep and rest, new meds can take a while to get used to. I’m glad to hear this week has been better for you. I would love to visit China Town during the celebrations I can imagine the dancing dragons are amazing I hope you have a lovely time if you do go x

Getting out of the house more sounds like a good resolution to make. I am not a resolution maker, or rather, I do make them, but not necessarily at New Year’s, so I have nothing there. I have never seen the Chinese New Year’s celebration, but it sounds like fun. I hope you get to Chinatown to see it!

We are going into town, but have decided on pizza rather than a Chinese meal, we should still have time to visit China Town though, even though we won’t be eating there.

Christmas did seem to go by even quicker than usual – I suppose the fact I worked on Stephen’s Day (Boxing day to you) helped — can you believe peope at work asking me “how was Christmas?’ Wghat do you mean was!! At least the weather here has been quite mild WotW

I’m already tired of cold weather too. I escaped it for a few days this week, but I go back home tonight, back to the cold. If we can just hold on a little longer, it WILL change again; it, always does. 🙂

yes, the Chinese restaurants are open but they are not taking booking which are necessary for 7 including a wheelchair. We are hoping to pop by and see some of the celebrations before going for pizza instead.

New meds can take some adjusting to and taking it easy sounds like a good plan right now, especially when the weather doesn’t really give much incentive to get outside. I’m not a fan of the colder weather either. Hope you start sleeping better at night soon and that you enjoy getting out for a meal to celebrate your son’s birthday. Thanks for hosting #WotW

I’m sure the January weather can’t be much help, especially on top of a change in medicine. An early spring would be nice. We celebrated Chinese New Year at home, but I can imagine China town is lots of fun. Hope you had a good time and your son enjoyed his birthday. Thank you for hosting.
