Sir and I are getting our vaccine on Tuesday. If he’ll have it! Will be a weight of my mind knowing it’s been done before they go back to school

Must feel good to be on the road to relative safety. Certainly lowers the odds of you catching it. It is good to hear how well your family have taken to testing. We’ve not been tested once. I’ve just sent off my consent form for my two school ones to be tested when they go back, which will be a new experience. I hope they soon get into the rhythm of being tested as it looks like it will be twice weekly. What a strange old world!

The kids have been great from the start. I have to do the Little Man’s for him but he only complains a little. The school testing will be strange I’m sure but it’s a small price to pay for safety.

Ahh! That is great news. I am so pleased for you and Graham.
My youngest is getting a Covid test next week from the school and is terrified about it. It’s the fear of the unknown despite me showing her videos of people having the same test. I am sure once she has the first test she’ll take the next however many in her stride. x

I’m so glad that you and Graham have both had your first vaccination. I think vaccination and testing is going to be the way forward – fingers crossed that with more people being vaccinated, we can start to look forward to some more normality again. #WotW

Fantastic news, the vaccine really does make you feel so much more positive, doesn’t it? We have a local testing area near us and I send Darren every two weeks to get a test. He is the only one leaving the house at the moment but he also has to enter other people’s homes. Keeping everything crossed this is the start of getting back to some sort of normal #WotW

We take part in monthly testing for the ONS which started last March. We have never had a scare which has been good, but we’ve really not been out much either. Fingers crossed x
