It’s hard to capture Summer in a single photo so I’ve made a few collages for my Summer 2021 Snapshot.
First up it’s Birthdays, with all three of my youngest (And one of my oldest) having Summer birthdays, it certainly is a time of celebration.
Boo’s birthday is first and this year she turned 14, then the Little Man had his 11th birthday. Finally, Star had her 16th birthday. All three had a really good day.
Holiday of Summer 2021
This was last years holiday brought forward to this year because of Covid. I could share a million photos but I’ve chosen just three. One happy Boo and Dad at the caravan, one of the beach, and one of the beautiful village of Corfe.
Summer Days
Sometimes it feels like we didn’t do much over the summer holidays. The weather hasn’t exactly been fantastic, but we’ve had a few garden BBQs which have been fun. We even got the paddling pool out, but only once this year. We’ve had days out mostly involving animals. We’ve been to the Wildlife Conservation Centre and a farm. I went on a picnic with the Little Man and the girls had a day out on their own with their friends.
And just like that, Summer is over and it’s time to go back to school. Well, Star is starting college so it’s a whole new experience for her, she’s studying animal welfare and her ‘uniform’ includes a boiler suit and heavy boots. The Little Man starts Secondary school so it’s goodbye primary forever.
It’s been a good summer. Last year we didn’t do much at all but were thankful for our garden. This year we’ve done much more but always been careful. I’m just hoping that the return to school will be uneventful in a good way.
How has your summer been?
It is fab having all the birthdays around the same time but stressful at the same time. We have the last birthday this week here.
What lovely photos. Summer really has flown over this year. I hope the return to school goes well for your 3 x

Wonderful summer memories and photos – not even the virus can stop family time.
What lovely photos. I’m glad you’ve all had a good summer.
Good luck to Star and the Little Man on the next stage in their education journeys! Animal welfare sounds really interesting.
