Word of the Week – Appointments

This week has been all about appointments.
My eldest son had a GP appointment and an appointment at the bank.
Hubby has a dentist appointment today.
My daughter had her regular appointment with the nurse on Wednesday and while we were there we talked about the Little Man and now he has a referral and an appointment in December. I also have to make him an appointment with the GP to talk about his problems, but that will have to wait for a little while. Don’t worry, it’s not urgent.

I can’t take him next week because my appointment came through for my IVIG which I will be starting next week. I will be going to hospital every day for five to six hours at a time. Lots of reading material will be required then.

I am hoping to make a vlog or two about having IVIG. I say hoping because I’m not feeling very confident about vlogging and who knows if I will ever let them be seen! If anyone has any questions about IVIG (Intraveneous Immuniglobulin) or Stiff Person Syndrome then please let me know and maybe I can answer them.

Some weeks just end up packed full of appointments. It sounds like they all went smoothly. I hope your treatment goes well and makes a difference for you. You could always film the experience for yourself as it might be useful to look back on even if you don't feel like sharing x

So many appointments! I hope you get a respite over the weekend. With the IVIG do they hope to see a permanent improvement or is at a treatment that you will have to have periodically? I'd vlog it if you feel up to it, there's nothing to say you have to publish it but it will build your confidence for if you felt like vlogging in the future #wotw
