I wanted the kids to spend less time watching You Tube videos so I bought them some new toys, a set of Roblox Figures. They were so excited they grabbed the camera and started doing an un-boxing video. Once that was done Boo began making her own little stories up with the characters and filmed it all. In other words, she was doing exactly the type of thing she watches on You Tube.
I don’t know whether to call it a win or a fail?
After the filming was over she grabbed the laptop and watched her film over and over.
That’s a great idea. They do watch so much YouTube these days. Glad she’s enjoying it x
Grace does things like this too! I think it really helps them focus 🙂 #MySundayPhoto
This made me smile, but I’d call it a win, better they are creating the material than just watching others. #MySundayPhoto
Definitely a win. Creative if nothing else. Great idea for getting them away for the screen, even for a short time. They interact with each other more, I find too, as they gradually all join in. #TheSundayPhoto
hehehe! This made me smile. It sounds like she had a lot of fun. x
This is exactly what my girls would do too
Thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto
Hi Anne, I would call that a win. Not only was she being creative, but imagine the sense of achievement she must have felt as she watched her own little videos instead of someone else’s… All filmmakers have to start somewhere!
xx
Thats a win! Something positive from watching those videos is them inspiring to kids create =) #mysundayphoto
It’s lovely to learn new skills even if it’s copying what you were trying to steer clear of #MySundayPhoto
My son loves watching unboxing videos! He has tried doing his own videos but they all go a bit off track!
