It’s been an incredibly difficult week and yesterday my brother and sister-in-law turned up with this lovely bunch of roses.
The lovely Rachel from Rachel Swirl who hosts Sunday Snapshot recently posted a flower photo with the words from Myley Cyrus song, Flowers. and I think it’s appropriate for me to repeat them here:

Who needs a man! My kids have taken the disappearance of their Dad really hard so I’ve tried to stay strong for them. But seeing as he broke up with me in front of them it’s not been an easy ride.
My family have pulled together and we feel stronger than ever right now. I’ve even booked train tickets for our holiday to Weymouth in a couple of weeks. It’s been booked for many months and we really need this break. My eldest son is coming with us, but I’ve booked all the help I need to get on and off the trains.
And there is nothing to make you feel a little better than a lovely bunch of roses.

So sorry to hear it’s been such a tough couple of weeks. I can’t imagine what it’s like to go through that. Well done for being brave enough to book the trains for your holiday. I hope you all have the best time. You definitely deserve a break!
