I guess you can’t escape that it was World Book Day this week. I loved seeing all the photos of the kids dressed up. I’ve spent so much time in the past sorting out costumes. I even sparkled up a pair of shoes with glitter and sequins for my little Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. However, I do have a little man who HATES dressing up with a passion and has never, ever dressed up before. I had to pop to the fancy dress shop to get Star a black cape and I saw this Mario outfit really cheap. (Probably because it’s not really Mario) I bought it thinking it would never be worn, but lo and behold, The Little Man loved it……and he wore it to school too. (I had to make a few adjustments!)

Great costume and he looks very happy wearing it! Our school didn't do costumes for World Book Day, which my daughter was slightly disappointed about. I think a lot of parents were very relieved though!

You certainly did in your choice. He looks to be delighted to be wearing it. My son went in his Matt Smith Doctor Who costume complete with one of his annuals.
