I was at a bit of a loss for a photo this week so I’ve decided to fall back on Ash, my kitten who is very nearly an adult now.
I’ve chosen this photo because of colours, it’s 50 shades of brown, well apart form his white paws. We bought the settees just a few weeks before getting Ash and I swear there was a little part of us that wanting him to match, hehe.
He’s not a fussy cat which is a shame because we all want to fuss him. Maybe when he grows up a bit he’ll enjoy a little more fuss. His older sister thinks nothing of jumping on your lap and is currently cuddled up on the Little Man, whereas Ash is hiding behind the curtain.
Ash loves to play outside, but he’s in and out every five minutes. We really need a cat flap but our doors are double security so we can’t have one. Last Summer Ash was too young to go out so we couldn’t have the patio doors open and we had to roast inside. Thankfully this year we’ll be able to have them open again and Ash can come and go as he pleases.
A real cutie .. almost made me want a cat … or at least a kitten … and the couch is not bad either! But we’re committed doggies, and I could see Lily making a cat’s life hell … or vice versa!!
Ash is a cutie, and I’m a cat person, but that’s probably because they are easier to look after. I have to agree, I don’t think Lily and Ash would get on at all 🙂
Such a cutie! Love the idea of matching pets to furniture – we have a dark coloured dog to stop hair showing on our mostly dark clothes ?
I don’t get too much hair from my cats, but when I do it’s usually on my curtains! It’s a good excuse to buy new curtains though 🙂
He’s adorable! He reminds me of our first cat, we had her for 18 years!
We had two of our cats for 17 years, they become real family members don’t they x

True Kim, but I was expecting him to be a huge cat because he has huge paws. At the moment he’s no bigger than Sabrina who was our tiniest cat. x
It’s always nice to have pet photos to fall back on, especially when the pet is as cute as Ash! He really does blend in very well with your sofa.
I won’t tell you how many times I’ve nearly sat on him 🙂
That sofa was certainly made for Ash! My experience with cats is they like nothing better than the door being half open while they sit on the doorstep and everyone inside freezes!

Oh wow they are both beautiful. Our cat has got a bit more cuddly As he’s got older but he won’t sit on laps for long sadly #mysundaysnapshot
Hi Anne, Ash has grown into a lovely looking cat and looks very bright eyed and bushy tailed. My little dog isn’t one for fuss either despite being a small dog, he’ll sit by my feet and enjoys a shoulder rub before bed, but other than that isn’t fussed at all. I hope Ash becomes a little more snuggly with age.
