My Facebook memories are always full of the funny things my kids have said over the years. I love to record them and here are a few I’d like to share with you. Of course if you wish to join me on Facebook you can find my page right here (blatant plug.)
Facebook Memories 2011
Graham loves to play his guitar and sing. But I guess that Star was not a real fan.
Boo to Star “do you want to play in the garden?”
Star “no”
Boo”why because daddy is singing?”
Star”yes, it’s playing me up!”
This next thing happened one afternoon and it was just so unexpected.
Star with a packet of cream crackers “if you take away the ‘e, r, s’ at the end and put ‘b, u, m’ at the beginning you get ‘bum crack’
Not sure whether I should actually be impressed or not!
2012
This is a piece from my Facebook memories when Boo was in Reception class.
Oh the shame! Boo got sent home from school early today…for painting hand prints on the wall in the corridor (on the way to the toilets to wash her hands) Only yesterday did her teacher tell me how well behaved she was during parent’s evening.
We had to go into the school and speak to the head teacher. We were told that Boo had been caught with red paint all over her hands and the hand prints on the wall were red. So basically, she was caught ‘red handed.’
This photo is another one of my memories, when Boo got Christened on the same day as her baby brother.
2013
Back when Boo was in year 1.
Boo’s just come in from dance class where she has been learning dances from ‘Pirates of the Carrot Bean’
We still call the film Pirates of the Carrot Bean, it’s a standing joke. This also reminds me of when she used to sing that classic Rihanna song …
We found love in a homeless place
We did get her ears tested just in case.
2014
The Little Man just told me his unicorn was sticky?? It took a while, but I eventually figured out he meant his uniform, as he’s still in his nursery uniform.
I remember when the Little Man was in nursery, his uniform was a purple tracksuit. It was so cute.
2016
Finally, lets have a little puzzle.
The Little Man just asked me “how many days forward will it be soon from last Christmas?” answers on a postcard please, because no matter what answer I give it’s wrong!
If you enjoyed this you can read my first post here.
Oh so cute! I wish I’d noted down some of the things the children used to say. The only ones that have survived are the running joke ones. #MMBC
I record practically everything, when my older kids where younger I have everything recorded in diaries. It’s just a habit of mine. I worry that the internet makes things too easy and I may lose it all, but then I used to worry about house fire and that taking away my memories. I so wish I could share some of the funnier things my eldest two said but I’m not allowed to speak of them. (in the hope that they don’t read the comments…my eldest daughter once mistook the word lesbian for Christian in a conversation with friends..haha) x
hehehe! This made me chuckle.
Kids are so funny especially when they’re little. x
Haha! So funny! You were smart to record the funny childhood sayings from your kids. I forget most of the funny things my kids said over the years! Thanks for the laugh!
Aww they are so cute. It’s been ages since I’ve done one of these posts. It’s so lovely to record and look back at them. Love this xx #ordinarymoments
This is so cute! I love it when Facebook shows me things like this. I love remembering all those little things. They grow up far too soon! x
