I was just joining in with my daughter when she started taking snaps of her Mojito during of the play we went to see last week. It wasn’t until afterwards that I realised I’d captured a green drink, on a green table, next to a green settee with a green plant hanging over it. Hence the title of my photo this week.
I’m wishing now that I’d had a Mojito too, my coke* looks out of place. What other green drinks are there? Ohhh maybe I should have asked if they did Matcha tea.
I’m not a huge fan of green, I’d never wear the colour, but I think it looks nice in decor. I currently have it in my kitchen, and I’ve had it in my living room in the past, including the sofas.
I do like green food though, peas, cucumber, apples, courgette, peppers…
What’s your favourite colour?
You can read my review of the play we saw, The Lovely Bones here. I turned out to be a fabulous evening out with my daughter. The wheelchair access was really good and I felt comfortable in the theatre. The toilets were easily accessible too.
The play was really good and it was a trip back in time to the seventies. I think the main character would have been just a little older than me at the time. I like that the story is not just about the murder and finding out who did it. That was quite obvious at the start. The real part of the story was how families deal with grief which I think is such an important subject which is often not talked about.
*okay, I may have had just a single shot of vodka in my coke. It’s the only drink that doesn’t make my head worse.
