My Little Man is growing up! He will always be my baby but it’s a hard thing to get my head around now my baby is going to Secondary School. He’ll still be the youngest with him only just turning eleven years old. To celebrate this milestone I’m sharing a photo of him at four years old starting Primary School and Last week starting Secondary School.
He’s changed a fair bit. His hair used to be so blonde when he young. I didn’t cut it for the first two and a half years and it grew long and curly. He is still the fairest in the family but he’s a lot darker.
I really do think he is need of a growth spurt though. I have photos of his sister’s starting secondary school and they are at least 3 inches higher up on that door frame! He won’t be short forever, no-one in our family is, so it wouldn’t make sense.
He really enjoyed his first week at school but I’ve warned him that it will get harder. They’ve done a really relaxed induction which is great, I just hope it’s not too much of a shock once the work really gets started. My wish is that he gets on really well and enjoys his time at secondary school. My Little Man is like the calm in a storm. He’s a boisterous, funny, clever amazing little boy who gives the most amazing hugs.

I can’t get my head around the fact your Little Man is in secondary school. They grow up so, so fast. He looks very smart in his uniform. x

Glad he had a good week. He looks very smart in his uniform!
I hope Little Man enjoys secondary school. I always take photos on the first day of school and the last day, it’s always interesting to go back and see how much they have changed over the years :o)

Your young man looks good and happy to go secondary school. Glad he had a good day. #MMBC
Oh wow, your Little Man is growing up fast. Lovely to see his first day of primary and secondary photos side by side. I’m glad that his first week went so well. Hope that it isn’t too much of a shock once things start getting more intense. #MMBC
The height difference was similar for us. The girls were tall, and now my son is tearing away in height and passing them. Boys seem to have a growth spurt later. Your boy does look smart in his uniform and what a fabulous smile. I’m glad he’s enjoying secondary school #mmbc
What lovely photos! I’m glad he enjoyed his first days at secondary school and I hope the rest of it goes smoothly for him too. No doubt he will be shooting up and overtaking his sisters before you know it!

Thank you, he’s doing so well changing to a new school, I’m so proud of him.
Oooo don’t wish time away, my son was smaller than me until the other year and he now towers above me and he’s only twelve! They grow sooo quickly – good luck to him in his first year at senior school and thanks so much for sharing and for linking up with #MySundaySnapshot.
I’d be happy if he stayed little forever, He still has his baby face, I don’t really want him to grow up but I guess it happens to us all.
