I know, I don’t get out much, and when I do I spam you with my photos. But, I’ve just a couple more from my trip to Stourport this week that I have saved for today’s Sunday Snapshot. Boats on the River. First up the small boats.
I love the bright colours of these boats and they looked lovely tethered up. Graham really wants to take the Little Man out on one of them. I’m not so sure, I’d rather they go on the big boat, that runs trips on the river. I’m pretty sure that Graham would be really careful if he did take the Little Man out, so if they want to go I won’t stop them.
This is a not so good photo of the boat that runs trips. I don’t not if they take people who can’t walk. I know some boats do if you can walk a little, but as it wasn’t doing trips on that day we didn’t bother to ask. If we go back I won’t mind waiting while the others take a trip without me. I know my boy is just itching to get out on the water and I really want him to have that experience. So far we have only had canal trips and those were while I was well enough to walk onto the boats myself.
In the background of this photo you can see the bright blue bridge over the water. I didn’t get another photo of the blue bridge thanks to covering up my phone lense with my thumb. I also took several photos of my knees. I’m getting worse at photography, not better!
You can read more about our day out at Stourport-on-Severn in this post, and I also used River as my Word of the week (Which is still open for linking up until tomorrow!) Next time we go I really hope that at least two of us get to go on the boats.
