Today I’ve chosen a photo from my trip to Cadbury World this week. This is when we got the chance to write on a big slab with chocolate bottles. The kids had lots of fun, and it reminded me of my cake decorating days when I did a lot of chocolate writing.
We had a really good day at Cadbury World and it’s been the highlight of our half term week. It wasn’t our first visit but the last time we went The Little Man was only six years old and had forgotten most of it.
He got to ride on the special wheelchair car with me when we went on the surreal ride being entertained by the antics of cocoa beans playing in the jungle. Then it goes into a winter wonderland and The Little Man was most impressed with how cold and windy it was. You could almost feel the snow.
I know it’s only just turned June but as you get older you know that if you blink it will soon be Christmas, time goes so fast. My babies are growing up now and days out like this will be a past memory. But hopefully we’ll have a few more years of fun with the Little Man. In less than seven weeks the young ones will be breaking up for the summer holidays and we have a holiday booked for Early August. We also have four birthdays in six weeks starting on 30th June. Fun times ahead.
I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, I’m forgetting what day it is. Friday felt like Saturday, Saturday felt like Sunday, but now it is Sunday it really feels like it!
The writing with chocolate looks like so much fun. It sounds like such a great day for you all. I am glad you got to fully join in while in your wheelchair.
I thought fun days out were a thing of the past with my eldest being 19 but we’ve had a few adventures over the past week and we have a few more days out planned over the next couple of months. The end of the school year is coming around so quickly. I can’t wait for summer. Today really does feel like Sunday with the girls going back to school and college tomorrow. Bed early tonight. x
