Purple Sky for My Sunday Snapshot

I went to close the curtains the other evening and I was greeted with this beautiful purple sunset sky. I had to grab my phone and take a snap, I’d have preferred not to open the door though because it was so cold outside.

I think Boo summed it up perfectly the other day, she said she loves winter but not the cold! I feel the same, I love snowy scenes and listening to rain and wind. But I don’t like being outside in bad weather and I really don’t like being cold. My body doesn’t like being cold either, I get so many more aches and pains when cold.

We’ve had a rough couple of weeks health wise, but I think we are over the worst for now. I hope so anyway because we have a birthday next week and a meal out booked for the adults. We are leaving the kids home alone… they don’t mind. They’ll have a take out and the house to themselves. They are not always that fussed about fancy restaurants. Although, we are going to Resorts World and they haven’t been there yet so we’ll have to take them one day. We may try a daytime visit and they can go to the arcade and bowling.
