Hello and welcome to the home of Word of the Week. A nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. The idea of the linky is to reflect back on your past week and share it with us. It’s great if you can sum it up in a word or phrase, hence giving us your Word of the Week. My word this week is ‘Final’ and you can read more about that below.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU WISH TO LINK UP! FROM NOW ON, THOSE NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE DELETED.
I’m not totally strict on using just a word or phrase. But please try to stick to the theme of summing up your week. There are not too many rules with this linky, just remember to read at least another couple of posts in the link up after adding your link. And please only add one post to the link up each week, multiple posts will be deleted. I will read and comment on all posts and tweet them out for you. I also have a Pinterest board devoted to Word of the Week. Please add the badge below to your post so that others may find us and join in. If you comment or tweet then please use the hashtag #WotW
Word of the Week is open from 6am on Friday Morning to 12 noon on Monday. Plenty of time to join in!
I also have a new link up open on Mondays for your recipes and food related posts. And, if you like to write bookish posts don’t forget my link up on my other blog At Home A Lot, Bookworms Monthly.
If you are unfamiliar with the Word of the Week linky then please feel free to ask any questions. New linkers are always welcome, we love to hear what you have been up to in the past week.
MY WORD OF THE WEEK – Final
I’m so sorry, I’ve not really been around much lately online and I am hoping that I will get around to reading last weeks posts today. This week has been my final week having my hospital treatment and for some reason I’ve felt really ill so I’ve not felt like anything else. I’m also on some new medication and I think it’s messing me around a bit.
I’ve chosen final because it really is my final week in hospital. Next week I’m going to learn how to administer the treatment at home. I’ll go into more detail about that when my head is working properly.
I’ll really miss the lovely nurses and staff on my ward, but I’m not going to miss having to spend hours in hospital for days. It really is like my second home.
Now it’s over to you, what word or phrase sums up your week this week?
I was thinking about and praying for you. Just know that we need you but we also do know that you have a lot on at the moment. Much love and blessings for smoother days and a clearer head.
Don’t worry about being online, you have enough going on in your life and adding in the fact you were ill just rest and I hope you feel better soon.
Good luck with learning to do your treatment at home. I am so pleased you have the option to do it. x
So sorry that you’ve been feeling ill with your treatment and new medication. Glad you will be able to have your treatment at home in future. Hope that you feel better again soon x #WotW
I’m looking forward to having my treatment at home. It will be so much more relaxing, thanks Louise x
I’m sorry you’ve felt rubbish, sending hugs and hope you are feeling better now.
Good luck with the treatment at home. xx
Still feeling rubbish, but I’ll get there xx
All the best as you start your treatment at home. Sending much love xx
Thank you Ruth x
