Word of The Week – Spots

What a week we’ve had in our house. Last week the Little Man fell poorly, I really didn’t know what was wrong with him, he had a temperature and was really lethargic.
Then he came out in spots.
Then he came out in different spots all around his mouth and chin.

I took him to the Doctor who said he had a viral infection and Impetigo. Eventually, after another visit it was decided he had Scarlett Fever.
Highly contagious, he hasn’t been to school for a week now.

Then Star got a temperature, and couldn’t sleep. She’s not slept properly for three nights now and today has done nothing but lie around drifting in and out of sleep and moaning about her head and her ears. I’m expecting another night of little sleep, or maybe she’s so exhausted she’ll sleep day and night now? I know I won’t be able to sleep properly for worrying about her. There are no spots yet though.

The Little Man is now past his quarantine, so fingers crossed they both recover soon as we have some exciting trips planned in the near future.

Oh that sounds bad. Mine both had chicken pox this year but I'm dreading the day one or both of them come down with something worse! I hope they are sleeping/recovering a bit now or soon at any rate. Xx #wotw

Awww so much virus roaming round. My son just vomited last Friday when I am picking up from school. Now he is recovering and hopefully ready for school tomorrow. Get well soon to your children. #wotw

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

Some people only write reviews when things go wrong with products, which is good because it lets people know that there could be potential problems. I’ve also seen negative feedback with say things like, I had to return this item because the colour did not suit me…is this useful?

I write reviews on most items I buy because I like to give genuine feedback. If I have a genuine problem with a product I will write my review in the appropriate place.

I write reviews on my blog too, but they are mostly positive. Why? Because I only write reviews for the things I’ve loved. If I don’t love them I let the person who sent me them know with details why and then let them decided if they would rather me write a negative review or not write one at all. It’s always the latter.

This is my blog, my place and I’ll let you know about the things I love. If you want to find out what other people have hated about the product then you will need to look elsewhere.

My reviews may all be positive, but they are still genuine.
