My Sunday Photo – 27th May 2018

The Big Bounce!

I don’t have a fancy camera, I took this on my phone by keeping my finger on the button and taking a burst of 24 photos. This meant I could get some fabulous action shots like this one of my girl bouncing in the air.

Can you believe, we’ve had this trampoline since December but have only managed to put it up in our garden. Thanks to all the snow and miserable weather our garden has been like a swamp. Now it’s all dried out and the grass has been cut (and partially destroyed) so it was a good time to get it out.

The kids have always wanted a trampoline and we got this one from Big Game Hunters it’s an 8ft Orbisphere with enclosure and it’s currently on offer for just £100. My kids are going have loads of fun on this all summer.

There are lots of times when we can’t get away from home because either mine or Star’s illnesses, so it’s great to bee able to provide the kids with lots of entertainment in our own back garden. Yes, I would like a pretty garden full of flowers and ornaments, but for now I’ll be happy with the swings, slide and trampoline which make my garden look more like a park. Sometimes I miss my old garden, it was so much bigger and I had room for both.

Is your garden full of flowers or toys?

This has been an issue round here lately as my daughter desperately wanted a trampoline, but my husband wants the garden to stay nice! She’s compromised with a mini trampoline (in today’s photo!), which she can use for her gymnastics tricks she wants to try and it can go away in the evening so it doesn’t ruin the grass.

Hi Anne, it looks like your children are going to have a fab summer bouncing around. Trampolining is probably one of the most fun forms of exercising there is. Our garden is neither full of toys or flowers. We do have green grass though (someone told my husband it wouldn’t be possible here, which was like a flag to a bull) and fruit trees, with a few veggies planted out back. My herbs and cactus do flower though and are quite easy to care for.

Ohh! That looks like fantastic fun!
My girls have always wanted a trampoline but we only have a small concrete back yard. One just wouldn’t fit. I did think about getting a mini one but we have no soft landing if they jump or fall off….

My garden is full of toys, they do love the trampoline though

We have a Wendy house and a climbing tower in our garden both of which we were lucky to get for free when friends of ours had no use for them any more. My daughter’s two friends both have trampolines and one lives at the back of us and one across the road so she just goes over there for her jumping fun!
