Happy Easter 2020 everyone. Here is my kid’s stash of chocolate eggs.
The adults had eggs too, I think I did quite well really considering I was unable to get out anywhere.
I left the eggs on the sideboard but when the Little Man got up (at 7am) he was in tears because I didn’t hide them. (for the first time.) I think I forget sometimes just how much younger that the girls my Little Man is and I though they would be okay with just getting their eggs.
Egg Hunt
So, I sent the Little Man into the kitchen while I hid the eggs around the house. Then he waited patiently for 2 hours for his sisters to get up before they looked for the eggs. The girl’s were not impressed at all at having to search for them. I just couldn’t win! Anyway, they were happy with eggs so that’s a bonus. Maybe we’ll do some Easter baking later too if I can get them motivated.
Easter Bunny 2020
I had a pattern to crochet an amigurumi (crochet term) Easter Bunny. It took me for ever, I seem to have lost my passion for crochet at the moment. I hope it returns soon. Anyway, here is the less than perfect result, I finished him yesterday, just in time for Easter.

Conversation with Jamie Oliver
Before I leave I just wanted to share something that happened yesterday. I love synchronicity. The other day my daughter said she fancied a BBQ just as the person on my audio book said they were cooking on coal!
Anyway, yesterday Jamie Oliver was on my television when my eldest asked what was for dinner.
- Eldest: What’s for dinner Mum?
- Me: I don’t know
- Jamie Oliver: This is my recipe for Fajitas
- Eldest: I’d love Fajitas
- Me: I don’t have any chicken
- Jamie Oliver: Don’t worry if you don’t have chicken you can always make these with prawns or even just vegetables
Talk about interactive television!
I hope you all have a Happy Easter whatever you are doing, and remember, Stay Home and Stay Safe, protect the NHS.
Happy Easter! What a great selection of eggs. I think I’d have the Wispa one. hehehe
What a cute little bunny!
hehehe! How freaky about your conversation with Jamie Oliver.

Your ‘conversation’ with Jamie Oliver is amazing and I love your crochet bunny. You definitely can’t win with kids! It sounds like next year you need to hide the Little Man’s eggs, but leave the girls’ eggs out on the side for them. Incredibly, my 18yo was very happy to do an egg hunt on Sunday, whereas neither he nor his brother would do one last year, at 17 and 15.
