We were sent this encyclopedia to review and it really is a lovely book. The images are delightful and bound to catch the eye of any young child. It’s aimed at children aged 5-11 years and is hardback so will last a long time.
The book has 80 pages and contains 500 illustrations from the archives of Alain Gree. It covers a huge range off subject areas including insects, birds animals, fish, weather, farming, trees, flowers, transport and space. The book provides the ideal opportunity for paretns ad young children to discuss the many subjects covered, giving children a wonderful platform to learn and ask questions about the world around them.
pages from the book showing different kinds of boats.
There are pages with the lovely illustrations to give you an opportunity to talk about the objects, like these different types of boats for instance. Then the next page will give more information such a how they work or interesting facts, or a more detailed look.

The recommended retail price for the book is £14.99 but you can currently buy it at a discount on Amazon for just £9.34
Do you have a child keen to learn about everything?
This would make a great Christmas present.

Love the colourful graphics in the encyclopaedia. That would entice any child to learn.

The illustrations remind me of the 1960s/70s. Probably a lot more up to date. Used to love looking through similar ones when I was little. #MMBC

I like the books that are simply-illustrated. Images that are not very colorful and give clear visual content, provide better comprehension.

I absolutely love those kinds of books! My girl loves to learn because of them!

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

Some people only write reviews when things go wrong with products, which is good because it lets people know that there could be potential problems. I’ve also seen negative feedback with say things like, I had to return this item because the colour did not suit me…is this useful?

I write reviews on most items I buy because I like to give genuine feedback. If I have a genuine problem with a product I will write my review in the appropriate place.

I write reviews on my blog too, but they are mostly positive. Why? Because I only write reviews for the things I’ve loved. If I don’t love them I let the person who sent me them know with details why and then let them decided if they would rather me write a negative review or not write one at all. It’s always the latter.

This is my blog, my place and I’ll let you know about the things I love. If you want to find out what other people have hated about the product then you will need to look elsewhere.

My reviews may all be positive, but they are still genuine.
