Hello and welcome to the home of Word of the Week. A nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. The idea of the linky is to reflect back on your past week and share it with us. It’s great if you can sum it up in a word or phrase, hence giving us your Word of the Week. My word this week is ‘stressful’ and you can read more about that below.
I’m not totally strict on using just a word or phrase. But please try to stick to the theme of summing up your week. There are not too many rules with this linky, just remember to read at least another couple of posts in the link up after adding your link. I will read and comment on all posts and tweet them out for you. I also have a Pinterest board devoted to Word of the Week and I will add posts to Mix Please add the badge below to your post so that others may find us and join in. If you comment or tweet then please use the hashtag #WotW
Word of the Week is open from 6am on Friday Morning to 12 noon on Monday. Plenty of time to join in!
If you are unfamiliar with the Word of the Week linky then please feel free to ask any questions. New linkers are always welcome, we love to hear what you have been up to in the past week.
MY WORD OF THE WEEK – stressful
I wish I could be more positive. I wish I had something better to share with you. But honestly, I’m at the end of my tether and the only way I can describe this week is stressful.
I can’t talk about most things that are going on, so I just have to hope I can ride it out and things will get better. They will get better won’t they? I wrote a post a couple of week ago about Five Little Ways to Feel Good and now I need to practice what I preach. I wish I could go for a walk. Just leave the house and go. I used to walk a lot when I could, I enjoyed it and found it great for relieving stress. Unfortunately, going out in a wheelchair isn’t the same, there is always the stress of finding a suitable path, or a way to cross the road safely. Even a bumpy pavement can be a nightmare. I’m hoping the weather stays okay so I can get out this weekend. I need some time out of the house and some fresh air.
In the meantime I am dreaming of our holiday in August. I hope it can still go ahead. I long to hear the sea gulls and the sea lap against the shore. I really hope we have a sea view from our caravan as I’m not planning on actually going anywhere else.
I can’t believe the Easter holiday is almost over. My favourite holiday of the year and it’s been completely ruined 🙁 I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Whitsun will be better.
I hope everyone else is keeping well x
Now it’s over to you, what word or phrase sums up your week this week?
I am so sorry you have had a stressful week. Sending love and hugs. I hope you get some time outside. It sounds like you need it. Fingers crossed that your holiday goes ahead x

I’m so sorry that it’s been such a stressful week for you Anne and that the Easter holidays have been so tough. Hope that you can manage to get outside this weekend and that your holiday in August will be able to go ahead. Sending virtual hugs your way and hope that next week will be a much better week for you all. Lots of love x #WotW
I’m sorry your week has been stressful. I agree that getting outside even if it’s the garden for ten minutes can reduce feelings of stress. Hope next week is better for you.
I’m sorry that you’ve had a bad week. That is the pits. I find going outside a real stress reliever and would miss the walks too. I hope you do have a caravan with a sea view. Nothing quite like the changing view of the sea. I’m hoping for a few day trips to the sea, as I don’t think we’ll get away this year. I can’t believe the Easter holidays are almost over too. Sending hugs and hope that you can sort everything out.
So sorry it’s been a stressful week for you. I hope you manage to get outside at some point. Keeping everything crossed that your holiday will still go ahead. Sending you the biggest hug. x
I’m so sorry that the past week has been such a stressful one for you. I’m sure things will get better just hang in there. Fingers crossed for your summer holiday. We don’t live that far from the sea and having lived within the M25 for most of my life I know how lucky we are. I hope one day my children understand that too. Sending hugs for a better week this week #WotW
