I’ve been on holiday, and what a wonderful week we had. Ok, it could have been better weather, but we had plenty of beach time and the boys had a paddle in the sea. It seemed to rain every time we got back in the car! I’ve a million photos that I took so I’ll be working on my next photo book. For now I’d like to share this sunset view from our caravan. We were in a place called Sunset View and I can see why!
I was a little disappointed that we didn’t have a sea view, but I go it wrong (Again.) Last time I booked us into the wrong park in Cornwall. I even set the Sat Nav in the car, and it wasn’t until I got my checking in documents out that I realised we were heading to the wrong place. Thankfully, our park was only a few miles further and it was really nice.
This time I got excited by the fact that this park in Poole, Dorset, had it’s own beach. It was all on the level with a cafe next to the car park. Perfect for my wheelchair. I could sit at the cafe while the kids played on the beach. Well, we did and it was lovely, but what I hadn’t realised was that it was not the sea! It was actually a lake. It was only a short drive to the sea though, and we visited a few times.
It’s just a shame my kids are not into water sports as there was so much available here and they’d have had a whale of a time (haha, see what I did there?)
I’ll tell you more about my holiday soon, we had so much fun. It was lovely to get away for a few days.
It sounds like you had the best holiday and that sunset is amazing!
It did make me chuckle about you getting things wrong about the sea view but it sounds like it didn’t make a difference to your holiday. x

Trust me Kim, I always get something wrong! lol x
That is a beautiful sunset. Glad you had a lovely time.
that sunset is gorgeous!
I’m so happy that you had a good time away. That place sounds perfect for you and your family.
I know what you mean by heading to the wrong place. Even recently, Leisa and I booked eye appointments and ended up at the wrong place despite having the proper address.
That sunset view is amazing too. Love it.
What a fabulous beach – so much sand. Good to hear that you had such a great time 🙂

So glad you got to go away and had a lovely holiday, even if you did get the location slightly wrong!
That sunset is absolutely stunning.
