London is a wonderful destination, whether you’re planning a getaway for two or planning your honeymoon. And honeymoon trips do not always have to be in exotic, distant countries and with paradise beaches! The British capital is not only home to numerous essentials that you will have to visit, but it also offers you the most romantic plans so that your stay is truly unique and unforgettable. They are numerous and varied, so don’t miss out on this complete selection… and make the most of your time in the city!
Climb the wonderful London Eye
The incredible Ferris wheel of London, 135 meters high, will offer you a fabulous 360º panoramic view of the city. In just 40 minutes on the Ferris wheel, you will see fifty of the most representative points of the city, such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament or Westminster Abbey. This visit will surprise you, especially if you go up at night, with the entire capital illuminated. And did you know that there is also the possibility of renting a private capsule?
Have a cup of tea… English style
Feel like the natives savoring some of the numerous variants of this delicious drink in a tea room or in one of the restaurants that offer this option among their services.
Stroll through its parks and gardens
Hyde Park, Holland Park, Kew Gardens or Sky Gardens are four excellent proposals that you cannot forget during your trip to London. And they are some of the most romantic places in the British capital!
Sailing by boat on the River Thames
Book (better at night) a mini-cruise on the Thames – London’s river – and enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner. London at night will cast a spell on you!
Go for a crazy golf date
While a bit different for your usual romantic plans, going for crazy golf at one of the London venues such as those of Plonk Golf at Camden Market, can be a very fun alternative that can at the same time be romantic. This is mainly because of the decoration and atmosphere of the venues.
Dine in a restaurant… with magnificent views
The restoration in London is the most varied and cosmopolitan, so you will have no problem finding the perfect restaurant for you. In the city there are some that are especially romantic, since, being located on the upper floors of unique buildings, they offer wonderful views of the surroundings. One of them is Shard which, at 310 meters high, is one of the highest in all of Europe. Can you imagine what it will be like to have dinner there? And don’t forget to visit the building at another time. They offer tickets combined with glasses of cava to make the experience even more wonderful.
