My Sunday Photo – 24th September 2017

Why do people cry ‘it’s too early’ when Christmas is mentioned in September? You can already find Christmas cards and gifts on sale in the shops and many people getting up in arms about it. Maybe they are Christmas haters? Maybe they think we spend too long planning for Christmas. Maybe they don’t want to think about it until last minute.

Personally, I think the run up to Christmas is the best part. I enjoy planning and deciding what to buy. I don’t have a huge amount of presents to buy but I like to give them lots of thought. Then there is the money side, Christmas might seem like a long way away but it’s only three or four pay days depending on which time of the month you are paid! I don’t like leaving everything to the last minute. I like to start early and not have to worry about paying out a huge amount in one go.

This photo was taken in August in Stratford-on-Avon. The Nutcracker Shop is open all year selling Christmas things. If I lived nearer I would visit frequently, why not?

What do you think, does Christmas start arriving earlier every year? Do you prefer to think of it at the last minute? Should Christmas be left well alone until December?
or, do you ‘Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday?’

I’ve made the photo a little more Christmassy, now does it look better than the one taken in August?

I pin My Sunday Photo pics I visit on my Pinterest Board. Please let me know if you wish your photo to be removed.

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

Some people only write reviews when things go wrong with products, which is good because it lets people know that there could be potential problems. I’ve also seen negative feedback with say things like, I had to return this item because the colour did not suit me…is this useful?

I write reviews on most items I buy because I like to give genuine feedback. If I have a genuine problem with a product I will write my review in the appropriate place.

I write reviews on my blog too, but they are mostly positive. Why? Because I only write reviews for the things I’ve loved. If I don’t love them I let the person who sent me them know with details why and then let them decided if they would rather me write a negative review or not write one at all. It’s always the latter.

This is my blog, my place and I’ll let you know about the things I love. If you want to find out what other people have hated about the product then you will need to look elsewhere.

My reviews may all be positive, but they are still genuine.
