As a kid I was big fan of The Beano which my Dad would bring home from work, often I could tell he’d already had a read. Dennis the Menace was one of my favourite characters in the comic, along with Minnie the Minx. The Brewers Fayre have chosen Dennis the Menace as the theme for their play areas at their pub restaurants and we were invited along to the one in Great Park, Rednal to see.
While waiting for our food the kids had fun with the activity books and crayons provided. I love that restaurants do this. Not so long ago I remember carrying around my own books and pens to keep kids occupied, they just don’t understand that they have to sit and wait for their food. The time goes quickly if they are occupied.
We had a lovely time, the staff were very helpful and cheerful, it makes a difference when you get service with a smile. We will definitely be returning to this Brewers Fayre.
Disclosure: We were invited to Brewers Fayre for a special VIP event and everything was provided for free. All thoughts and opinions were my own.

We recently reviewed the Weymouth branch. The service and food was lovely. I love the idea of the soft play and it was really clean etc … but I really dislike having to pay £3 on top of buying meals. I have three children so an extra £9 before I've even started ordering food! I do think that it should be free or discounted if you are eating. I'd rather go somewhere with a garden and save some pennies!
