We started the week with a poorly Star. She had an almighty migraine, she could barely lift her head up and felt sick. For two days she did practically nothing while it took over. It’s horrible to see your child suffer like that, especially when you are familiar with migraines and you know how awful they can be. I’m going to ask her GP if there is anything stronger I can give her.
On Wednesday morning she woke up feeling much better and went off to school without any fuss.
I spent most of Monday and Tuesday in hospital, but I wasn’t sick. I was getting my IVIG treatment which will make me feel a little better for the next few weeks.
Then on Wednesday night, I was woken from a deep sleep by a vomit covered Little Man. He was in such a mess and so was his bed. I cleaned him up, got the spare bed out in our bedroom and settled him there with a bowl for emergencies. There were several emergencies all night long and we barely slept at all.
On Thursday morning he was still being sick. I didn’t have to call the school though because it was closed for the elections. He finally settled and went to sleep on the settee. He woke up around mid day and was sick again. I didn’t think it was going to end, but it did, that was the last time, phew!
I’m now looking forward to a sunny, sick free weekend!
Oh no, not the word you ever want summing up your week. Migraine’s are awful, poor Star. Glad she’s feeling better now, but then poor Little Man. I hate sickness bugs and they do seem to go on for so long, you do wonder when they’ll stop. I hope he’s starting to pick up now x Thanks for sharing with #WotW

Aww! Poor Star! I suffered with migraines when I was a child and they were truly awful. I’m glad she is feeling better now and your poor little man too! I hope he feels better soon. x
