What a life, I want to be a cat! To curl up and sleep whenever I want.
No worries apart from if the food bowl is full or empty. My cats don’t have to worry where the food is coming from or who has to pay for it. They don’t have to worry about going to the shops or ordering the shopping on line. They don’t have to worry about money, or politics, or even what’s on the television. With their lovely fur coats they don’t have to worry if the heating is on or not.
It’s a Cats Life
The Life of a cat is simple. Curl up somewhere and get cosy. Find your spot and take it, whether it’s on the settee or a discarded box, or even the box containing the wool stash hidden behind the sofa. It’s a soft box full of soft stuff, thank goodness they can’t get inside but at least it’s still cosy.
If someone arrives they can hide away or go outside, they don’t have to deal wtih visitors, strangers or family. They don’t like people except the ones that live here. Although, Ash did enjoy a good ear tickling from the Occupational Health visitor who spotted him behind the curtain.
Friends Forever
They don’t even have to be great friends to curl up close to each other. Although it seems they don’t get on, it’s simply not true. Sabrina will hide behind the curtain and jump on Ash. We thought she was attacking him, but it seems like a game they play. Sabrina has actually become very attached to and protective of Ash. She doesn’t go out much anymore but Ash goes out a lot. If he’s gone too long she waits at the door for him to come back. If he doesn’t come home before we go to bed and she’s alone, she will cry in the night.
I’ll let you into a little secret. If you come to my home and think that I don’t have cats, then Sabrina will be on the arm of the settee right next to where I sit. She will lie there very still and probably won’t notice her, or mistake her for a cushion. Ash, if he’s not out on an adventure, will be found behind the curtain.
If I were an animal I would like to be a cat.
What animal would you like to be?

My previous Sunday Photo here.
We’re dog people, and Lily and Bella have this life thing down pat. If we’re looking for Bella we just think in terms of the optimum place in the house for light, heat and comfort, and she will have tracked it down and be sprawled there
Aww cats are just the best. They look like thye are having so much fun and isn’t it just the most amazing life xx
Your cats are gorgeous X #mysundaysnapshot
