It’s not often my husband surprises me, and we don’t usually celebrate Valentines day, but this year he came back from the school run with these gorgeous Valentines Flowers and a box of chocolates!
They are really beautiful and still going strong. I didn’t even buy him a card…oops! You don’t need flowers or chocolates to show how much you love someone though. I think him just staying here and putting up with our big dysfunctional family shows that there must be something there.
Boo also had a bunch of roses for Valentines Day, you can see them in this photo.
Star didn’t get anything from her boyfriend, but I don’t think she was really bothered. She’s never been bothered by materialistic things, but seems to be a giver rather than a receiver. A bit like me, but maybe not this Valentines.
I did spoil Graham for his birthday yesterday though. I bought him a lovely t-shirt and a box of chocolates. I did order him some (rather expensive) trainers, but they haven’t arrived yet. He knows he’s getting them though. He had some really lovely birthday cards, a lovely chocolate cake and an Indian curry for take out last night. We don’t normally get Indian take out so that was a real treat. The other’s didn’t have Indian food but it was take out’s all around so no cooking.
Next up is my niece’s 30th birthday in April and she’s having a big party. She’s asked for 90s fancy dress and I would so like Graham to go as Mr Blobby! Goodness knows what we will dress up like though. I’m not really a fan of the 90s. If you have any suggestions feel free to tell me in the comments.
Last weeks Sunday Snapshot, I was at the Ballet

Your flowers are beautiful and I’m glad they’re still hanging in. Fresh flowers really add warmth to a home. Hope you have a good week. #MMBC
