What a couple of weeks! Life can certainly be like a circus, lots of laughter, lots of tensions and even a lot of heat!
First we had a week in Devon, which was both amazing and a little crazy at times. I’ve not had chance to write about it or share many photos as our Internet has been down since we got home. Our week at home as been a little crazy too with the Little Man’s Birthday and the heat which has warmed up a few temper tantrums, especially with the Internet down. When I was a teenager it was a lot harder to talk to your friends all night long, now it seems that it’s a given right!
But back to my photos taken from John Lawson’s Circus which we saw while on holiday at Haven Devon Cliffs. They told us to take photos and to share because it’s good advertising for them. So here we are. If you want a good night, I’d definitely recommend.
As I was a wheelchair user we were seated right behind the barrier. It would have been hard not to be one of the first arrivals though as the circus was situated directly next to our caravan. All week we’d heard the music and noises from the twice daily show (although most days we were off doing something else.) It was nice to actually see what was going on inside.
We enjoyed it all, although it would have been nice if it was longer. The ringmaster and his sidekick kept us entertained while the equipment was being moved around and they were so funny my face ached with laughter.
I never saw a circus with animals (mostly because of Dumbo) but I don’t think they are allowed anymore. There is no need though with the clever acrobats and stunt masters. The finale was amazing but also so mesmerising I only took a couple of photos which are absolutely rubbish. All the more reason to get to see the show yourself if you can 🙂
We saw the circus last Saturday evening, it seems like a lifetime ago now. It was a real fun night on our holiday though.
When our Internet decides to work properly I hope to share more of our holiday, and the Little Man’s birthday.

I have not been to a circus in years, hope you enjoyed it
I love going to the circus. I went to one at Butlin’s last year and it was really good. #MMBC
You have had a busy time of it. That is rubbish that you have no internet, probably the worst thing in the world for teenagers.
It sounds like you had a great time at the circus. x
I’d enjoy the circus better without animals. It is a fun environment. Hope your internet is up soon! #MMBC
It sounds like you had a great time at the circus and on holiday. Sorry to hear about the internet! That can’t have been much fun with moaning teenagers.
Ooo I love watching the circus – lovely pictures too. Thanks so much for linking up with #MySundaySnapshot and for sharing your snaps.
