My young ones only have one grandparent left and tomorrow it’s her birthday. I ordered a vase from Etsy with personalisation as a gift from her grandkids.
I think it’s really cute and I hope she likes it. Of course we will be presenting it with a big bunch of flowers, which I can’t show you a photo of yet because I want to buy them fresh for her birthday. We will also be giving her a big box of chocolates. I’m going to have to put my thinking cap on as to what to get her for Mother’s Day next!
This vase came in less than a week from Etsy so if you are still looking for Mother’s Day gifts do check out my gift guide.
I was thinking how nice it would be to get a great photo of the Northern Lights this week, but unfortunately we were not blessed here in the Midlands. I did think that maybe the sky looked a strange colour behind the trees at the bottom of my garden, but there was also a lot of light pollution from my neighbours houses, so it could have been anything really. Some of my friends posted some amazing pics though, especially those up in Scotland. How lucky, I’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights. One day maybe, if I can get on a wheelchair accessible cruise perhaps. (Now that would be a nice Mother’s Day gift, lol!)
We had a great day out at Home Ed. School of Rock this week, just in case you missed my post. I’m hoping it does carry on as this was just a taster session.
Aww! What a lovely gift. That vase really is pretty.
We couldn’t see the Northern Lights either. Hmmf. x
I’m sure Grandma must love her gift. The vase is lovely. Etsy is a wonderful place to find unique gifts. #MMBC
Great way to think about the kids when she takes out the vase.
What a lovely vase. I hope Grandma was happy with it. Mother’s Day seems to have crept up. Once again, I have no idea what to get my mum!
Oh that’s lovely! Thanks for sharing and for linking up with #MySundaySnapshot.
