I haven’t written a review for children’s books in a while. However, during this time it’s handy to know where you can get your hands on some educational books that will help your children and keep them entertained. I’ve tried to include books that will inspire Children to learn, and ones that will accompany what they are already learning. There are also books that you can use just to keep your child learning something when the school work isn’t going so well at home.
My Children’s schools are very understanding, as I hope are many others. They are happy that my children are learning something, even if it’s not the lesson plans that they have been set. Keeping their brains active and in learning mode is just as important as the school curriculum. I have home educated my children in the past, before the pandemic and school closures. You are not required to follow the curriculum to educate your child. However, if you do want them to keep up then there are lots of books and resources that can help.

There are many Shakespeare titles available as well as many other school literature guides such as this one.
But it doesn’t stop at literature, there are some fantastic guides for most subjects and also these useful Study cards which are available for most subjects from languages, to maths and Science.
You can see more books from my selection at the Bookshop.
Our kids are going through a tough time so maybe it’s a good idea to invest in some self help, or moral boosting books. My lovely friends wrote this book and I reviewed it here:
DR Ranj has also written some great children’s books (I’d like to say he was a lovely friend too, but even though we’ve met a few times he probably wouldn’t remember me.) Here is his latest offering aimed at young boys.
And one for the girls. I reviewed a lovely positive book called A Strong Girl’s Guide to Being.
I hope you have found my guide helpful. I may be back to add some more books.
