This is a difficult theme for #Blogtober16 simply because I have received the most amazing gifts in my life.
As a child I particularly remember a set of red telephones that really worked. Ok, technology wasn’t so good in those days and the phones only works connect by a wire which was only about 2 metres long so you could actually hear the person on the other phone anyway…but they rang, and that was very exciting for a six year old me.
As a grown up I’ve received the most beautiful and amazing presents off my partner and my grown up kids. Even this week I’ve received two fabulous presents alone and it’s not even my birthday until next month.

My partner brought me an amazing present a few Christmas’ ago but I’m not going to mention it because I have a post coming up about that soon.
However, my best present ever happened as a surprise Christmas 2004.
A positive pregnancy test!
I had been actively trying for a baby for over two years and wanting another baby for around 14 years. So it was a very special present indeed. The baby, Star, arrived 8 months later as she was a little early, but what Christmas gift, and it keeps on giving and giving.
Ohh! You are so lucky! That coffee machine looks amazing!
A positive pregnancy test is just the best! How lovely x

Oh man I want a Simon in my life! How wonderful that you found out you were pregnant at Christmas time, that really is the gift that money can't buy.
