Oh yes, your trip to the pub was way better than any trip to Maccy D’s….
It sounds like you had lots of fun on Saturday. My dad’s TV is a couple of seconds behind mine and I was on the phone when a match was on (not an England one) and I saw the goal first. He was very confused too. lol
It was pretty cool here yesterday which was such a relief….Now the sun is back but it’s still not quite as warm as it has been.
The football has been amazing. I can’t believe we are so close to the final and most of the big teams are out. x

Love the idea of sharing the day with your neighbor with BBQ and water games for kids. It’s so funny about the seconds delay between cable carriers. That must have been an add to the fun. #keepingitreal

Good morning Anne, I’m not into football and the behaviour of some fans after a win over here is a letdown to England and the football players that were playing their hardest. But sadly we’ll always get a few that think destroying property and intimidating people is the way to celebrate… Your day sounded good, I may have even been drawn into the spirit of things with a barbecue and some water fun!… There was a couple of minute delay on the football where my husband works and at the end of Wednesday’s match (before the defeat) one cocky young lad got up announced the result and walked off. I’m surprised someone didn’t lamp him one!… A pub lunch sounds far more fun and ‘day out-ish’ than McDs and far better than a trip to town when it’s hot and busy… If we ever get cloud cover in summer the humidity shoots up, and just moving feels like hard work.

Have a good weekend and thank you for sharing your week at #keepingitreal

    xx

I don’t normally watch football either but I was hooked on Wednesday…and I’m scottish! We finally have rain here in Liverpool, the grass will be saved hopefully! Has it reached you yet? I’ll send some your way!

We have loved this World Cup! What a tournament it’s been, so many surprises and great games. I think our team have done our country proud and credit to Southgate, what a wonderful manager he is. And yes, we’ll be watching both games this weekend, too x Thanks for sharing with #WotW

I’ll be cheering england on saturday from sneaking looks at my phone as I’m at a wedding and watching the final on Sunday. But I’ll be supporting France in the final as I never support the team that knock us out #keepingitreal

Ah it was such a shame they went out, but how amazing did they do? And I totally get what you mean about the change it got so muggy we have had a bit of rain and it feels a lot better hot but fresher x

It sounds like you’ve had a brilliant week, lots of sunshine, football and fun. I agree that it turned a bit muggy towards the end of the week, we had a brief respite with some rain but it’s back to scorching sunshine now. I’ve watched the England games this year for the first time ever and I’ve really enjoyed them, really sad they didn’t make the final but they did brilliant overall. I hope you are enjoying the weekend x

I’m glad you enjoyed the football and Saturday sounds like was a really fun day. It must have been quite funny with the slight difference in timing whilst watching the match. I have to admit that I didn’t really watch any of the World Cup but it was good to hear about England doing so well even if they didn’t manage to make it all the way to the final. #WotW
