It sounds like your son’s school are doing all they can to keep everyone safe but it really is a shame about some of the parents though.
I have seen people on social media still saying Covid is govornment made and the numbers of deaths are being lied about. They are obviously lucky enough not to know anyone who’s died.
The more we stick to the rules the quicker all of this will be over. x

I’m glad the school are taking COVID seriously and doing what they can to keep everyone safe. I really can’t get my head around the fact that some people still deny the facts.
The sooner people stick to the rules the sooner we can turn this around and start living life again. Sending big hugs. x

It’s reassuring to hear that the school is taking precautions to keep the children safe. Like you say, the rest of us still need to be patient so that easing of other restrictions can be done quicker. Our primary schools went back three weeks ago and there’s already a spike in cases. We are so nearly there, it really annoys me that people can’t just have that little bit more patience.

I am glad to read you have had your first vaccination. Teachers here are just getting vaccinated now. They are getting the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. You are so right – we are not out of the woods yet. Let’s not let our guard down now when we can just see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are still a lot of people (including me) who are not eligible for their vaccine yet. I don’t want the cases to begin climbing again when we have come this far. Totally agree with the points you have made here, Anne.
