We have had many holidays at Haven over the years and it’s a bit of a tradition to take a photo in the Haven Deckchair. So, here is this years photo.
I did do a post in 2020 of all my Haven Deckchairs, but I’m missing the one from 2021 so I’ll add them both to the old post.
I did manage to get around posting about our holiday this year which was really lovely. We certainly had the weather on our side this year.
We got back the day before The Little Man’s birthday which was pretty full on too. We went to the Sea Life Centre and Legoland Experience. So life has been very busy and I’ve had little down time. I was looking forward to a nice peaceful weekend but ended up rushing Star to A&E at 3.30 am on Saturday morning. She was considered an emergency but 111 told me that if I could take her to hospital it would be a lot quicker than waiting for an ambulance. She was seen quickly which was a relief, but is still in hospital. I stayed with her Friday night and Saturday up until 6pm by which time she was still waiting for a bed but was on a ward. Then her Dad took over and she was finally given a bed around 3am this morning.
She is currently receiving treatment and they are trying to find out why she got so sick. I don’t have any answers yet so I’m not saying too much, but I’m so glad we got her to hospital on time. I took her to A&E just a few weeks ago and I can only regret that I didn’t push them harder for help back then. They told us they’d done all they could, but they really hadn’t. They were just too busy to deal with something that wasn’t life threatening at the time, even though it became life threatening just a few weeks later. Our NHS is under incredible pressure and when you spend so much time there you can clearly see that. The staff are wonderful, but they are so pressed they are working to a script. I have nothing but praise for the nurse that treated Star though, she was so lovely and caring.
We are hoping to get her home today. But she will have to go back for an MRI (possibly tomorrow) as an outpatient. Fingers crossed we will finally get to the bottom of her problems. I’ll let you know x

Aww! What a fab photo! The kids are really growing up.
Oh no! Poor Star! I hope she is feeling better soon. Sending love and hugs. x
I am so sorry to hear that about Star. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
Take care,

So sorry to read this! It must have been awful to go through that with Star. I hope she is feeling better now and that you get some answers soon.
What a lovely holiday photo.
Oh I adore those over-sized deck chairs. This is a great photo – Thanks for sharing and for linking up with #MySundaySnapshot.
