Welcome to my Sunday Snapshot a regular linky that I join up with over on Rachel’s Blog Today I’m sharing a rosebud photo and I’ll also be telling you about my Autumnal goals for today’s Blogtober22 post.
Rosebud
A month ago, Star had just come out of hospital for the second time and my Brother and Sister-in-law turned up bearing gifts, chocolate for Star and a lovely mini rose bush for me. I am not usually good with plants but I now have three which are doing quite well including my rose bush. I decided to leave it on the coffee table as it get’s plenty of light from the patio doors. My living room does not have windows, how crazy is that? I do have double patio doors though which take up half of one wall so they are the main source of natural light. Anyway, the roses died, but I kept caring for the plant and there are now new roses appearing.
My Goals for Autumn
I’ve already written a bucket list for Autumn here. So I’m thinking how do goals differ from a bucket list? Well, I guess it’s about pushing yourself and achieving something. I often sit here and think that there isn’t much else I can do, my life is full but boring. Illness and disability reign over everything else. I try over and over to make things better but sometimes I lose my positive mental attitude and that has happened recently. It’s been hard dealing with my poorly daughter while not being well myself, and during my struggling I’ve failed to see how on earth I can be positive and happy.
Setting Goals can be a huge help in improving your mental attitude to life and so I have decided to make some for Autumn and possibly winter to keep me going.
- Start a new exercise plan
- Leave the house at least once a week
- fill in my journal every day
- complete my Christmas shopping
- Finish my online course
- Earn more money
I think these are achievable with a little extra motivation. So first job is to look for my mojo, it has to be around here yesterday (Says the woman who just spent a whole day looking for the television remote!)
If you’d like to help me earn more money then please consider using my ads if you see anything you might need. Also, I earn quite a bit a money every time I shop online with Topcashback, if you use my link here to sign up you too can earn some cash as well as earning me a reward!
That is just beautiful. There is something special about roses.
Good luck with your goals. They do all sound achievable. x
Beautiful photo and analogy of your life. That sounds like a good goals list. Don’t feel bad for having bad days, they’re completely understandable. What I see is a positive woman who gets up and keeps going again after them- even though it’s hard. You’re doing amazing xxx
Great photo, and it’s always nice to have things to work towards
What a beautiful rosebud! Best of luck with your goals.
Beautiful rosebud – flowers make everything better. Good luck with your goals! #MMBC
I love that picture! This is also a great list of goals.
Lovely rose! I don’t try to define things so specifically any more. Just do it 🙂
So sorry you’ve been struggling. It must be really tough. I do hope your goals help you get back on track and things feel better soon.
Such a beautiful snapshot – thanks for sharing and for linking up with #MySundaySnapshot.
