Blast from the past! My Little ones in 2011.
It seems to have flown by but this photo was taken 9 years ago. Look at my three little ones, first thing in the morning, still in their pyjamas and all reading books.
Star
Star would have been five in this photo, she was just learning to recognise words by herself and always loved looking at books. She’d have been in reception class at school, one of the youngest in the class, but she was doing fine. She still remembers her first school and our old house. We lived next door but one to her Nan and she was always popping around there with her Dad. We had a computer, just the one, and her sister had a laptop, but she was already a teenager. The Little ones never played with mobiles or tablets, they loved their toys and books. And Peppa Pig.
Boo
Boo would have been three, almost four in this photo. I can’t believe how blonde she was, her hair is much darker now. She loved copying her big sister and they have always been the best of friends. They still are, although they argue more than they used too. Boo would have been in nursery and always loved school which was at the bottom of our garden. I could hear them in the playground if I went outside. It would take us five minutes to walk to school. If only we still lived there, I could get to the school in my wheelchair no problems, (although the girls are at Secondary School now.)
The Little Man
The Little Man would not quite have been one year old and he is engrossed in one of those textile books, with fluffy wool clouds and corrugated cardboard houses. He was a bit of a moody baby, always wanting to be with Mummy. My Little Man was happiest when lying down flat on my lap, he didn’t even like sitting up. He didn’t walk until he was nearly two and never crawled. Although he did bottom shuffle when he was a bit older and wanted to get around. He was the blondest of all my babies and his hair is still fair, but not as light as it is in this photo. His hair isn’t very long here but as he grew his hair grew curlier and I loved his blonde curly locks. He didn’t have his hair cut until he was nearly three and people kept assuming he was a little girl, even if I dressed him all in blue. So, I took the plunge and we had his locks cut off. I still let his hair grow occasionally, he’s just too cute. But he’s also not so blonde anymore.
Memories of my Little Ones
I set up this blog in 2011, around the same time this photo was taken. Sometimes I wonder why I still blog, but then I look back at all the memories forever captured here and I know why.
Here are just a few:

Aww! Bless them. They sure were adorable when they were little. It is nice to look back on old photos like this and it is fantastic that we have our blogs to look back on all those memories. x
